Last night was fun. My Mom told me that he played a little "Matchmaker" with one of his nurses, as she reminds all of us of one of Brad's ex-girlfriends. She came into the room, and my Dad pointed at her and said Brad's name. She blushed as she exited the room apparently. He briefly cried at the old memories.
By the time I got there, he was pretty tuckered out. Earlier he had been in a wheelchair and the PT took him into the "gym" that is provided in the facility. When I asked him if he was pumpin some iron, he responded by throwing his hand up to arm wrestle again...what a show off. Haha. His speech is getting better, and when my Mom turned on Oprah...he mustered out "Oprahhh". She went home to take care of Jack, and I stayed for a while. Shortly after she left though, he was out like a light. All in all, a pleasant evening.

Dear John,
cuteness! You remind me of my father who never fails to make me laugh and giggle every time i hang out with him.At times like this when one of our loved one is in this situation and yet still can make his family laugh,it somehow eases the pain that we are holding deep inside our minds and hearts and make us forget for a few seconds about our worries.
just like when my by then 4year old son(he's 6year old now) had a high fever and he seemed to just gotten stiff and his eyes dilated...it was 7:30am..i woke up and rushed him to the hospital bare footed..wearing whatever. After the doctor and nurses took care of him,i went to the pharmacy to buy him some other medicines. When i got back i was still crying. then i saw him..he still could barely talk because his jaws gotten stiff too.but he was just so motivated to talk just to tell me "mommy i want fried chicken for lunch".But he only said that because he knew it makes me smile whenever he tells me what he wants for lunch. And sure it did!!Then he started talking to beautiful nurses around him.i felt a little relieved knowing i had my son back.
So i truly admire you John...i dont know you but let me slightly tell you that at your age you still look hot LOL no kidding though!! Now i dont have to wonder where Brad got his looks!!LOL But seriously speaking you are as hot as your son Brad and stay strong, either you are religious or more of an spiritual person just pray and before you know it you are back and kicking some ass!!LOL prayers and mind are very strong...and the love and supprort from your family are enough reasons for you to fight to live.it may be hard but try evey minute to ignore the thought of the situation that you are at right now.
You look like a tough guy too so i will never be surprised if your family posted another story here that John is getting well!!
John.. i will pray for your fast recovery...and for the strength of your family and friends who always love having you around.
God bless you always and God may lay his hands on you and heal you fast.
Love,
Joy.
P.S.and by the way John, dont bother to reply..i will just keep checking on you pictures..the one where YOU WERE TRYING TO SMILE and i will think of it as a THANK YOU reply!!! ;)And yeah i admire your sense of humor!!So get well fast so you can wrestle with Brad!!;)
